Hey man, that manfredd mann tune kicks ass! and I am down with that police song too.... other than that, I would rather eat fecal matter than listen to the other songs. hahaha.

My buddy was saying that if they made a video, they'd break out... and I just heard recently that they were shooting a video for Two Hands on the Wheel... so maybe there's a bright future for JSB.. although they're pretty big anyways in the indie live circuit... one of the best bands to see in town BY FAR!

Ok, Nice! So it definitely sounds doable in 13 hours or so... I plan on setting my cruise control at 20km/h over the speed limit at all times.

I'm there... driving from Ottawa, leaving on the 26th at around 9pm... driving nonstop with a full van of people, alternating drivers... expecting to arrive in Antigonish by 12-1pm(ish)... might be a little optimistic.. anyone done that drive before?

Ahahaha.... it's tempting man, it's tempting. I'm not 100% sure if I wanna sell it yet, but Low Roller, you get dibs if I do... I'd say there's a 80% chance at this point hahaha.

I've been hearing that the capital music hall isn't the best venue to bring a full taping rig into and that's all I really wanted to do.. not a huge wilco fan... if anyone is interested in getting a ticket to this sold out show for face value, let me know... cheers.

Not sure if we've met before... I imagine we've been to many of the same shows... I'll be flying a big black mic stand at Wilco so come say hi....

If you're getting into live recording, DON'T get a minidisc recorder... go the route I recently took and buy a Creative Nomad Jukebox 3 refurbed on ebay for $180 US... it's WELL worth it... 20GB space, record in wav format, firewire transfers, digital input.... makes for killer recordings... mix that with a UA-5 and a nice set of mics, and you're smokin!

Thanks for the setlist.. just what I needed! Tracking this show is going to be tricky..

My expectations weren't super high either. I saw them open for DMB twice, and while those were great openings sets, I wasn't left thinking that this band was one that I would have such a reaction to. I am not totally familiar with their regular live shows, but it seemed to me like this would have to be right up there with their best performances.. they all looked so into it. I can't wait to read what the papers are saying about the show. They stole jazzfest for sure.

Wow!!! This show blew my mind. And the tapes came out AMAZING. I was by the right stack flying a 9-10' black mic stand. You might have seen me. I'll try and get the tunes up by Sunday night. If the guy patching out of me (Chad, I think your name was), could refrain from seeding your copy since it has an aditional analog transfer in the lineage, that would be great.. thanks man. I had a great night and I can't believe how brilliant the flecktones are.... I'll post info when the recordings up on the archive. Peace
