Hmmm, this might be worthwhile checking out.... during reading week too, how can I refuse.
-
I'll throw in my props too... it's nice to attend shows and have someone who shares my addiction to talk to. I am looking forward to hearing the JSB recording.... and once again, keep up the great work man!
-
I'll be there...

Damn, Brad, you were a nero taping machine in 2004!
-
If bands like moe. or Derek Trucks Band or Wilco... you know, clearly open taping bands, were there... you think Bluesfest would allow taping rigs into the grounds?

Grab a copy of the GTB show from Elixir in Kingston here:

Sorry to take so long getting this online. School sucks. Also, if you've missed out on downloading any of the shows I've taped and had online in the last few years, check out my list here with links to the files at archive.org. I'm always updating this list whenever I tape new shows... so hopefully it will be of some use to anyone. Cheers.

Tickler, I wasn't taping last night cuz I was a little too drunk. My buddy was using my older mics and taping though. Apparently it turned out pretty nicely. I would have introduced myself if I knew who to look for. I was talking to Tim at the end of the show for a bit before we left... maybe you were still kickin' around?

What a show... what a night! boom baby!

Looks like you just beat me to the punch Brad! Anyways, you guys can grab my recording of the same show here:

Do a little comparison if you like.... cheers!
Oops, Brad already posted the link above. Well, thanks dude! I'm looking forward to hearing 11/06. Peace.

Wow, what I night... easily my best Nero experience and hopefully not my last... that will hopefully be New Year's Eve... and yes, the show was taped. Brad, myself, and another old school taper with a cassette deck were there in full force along with somebody toting a video camera. This one will be out in circulation soon. Wow... an amazing night. It's a shame I can't make it tonight for night 2. Thanks boys for the ECHOES.... I needed that. Everyone have a blast tonight for me! Cheers..

I could post it to the archive sometime soon. I actually wanna boost up the levels on it a bit. Too quiet for my liking.
-
Wish I could be there, but I'll be seeing them here in ktown on thursday.
-
Hey Mike, it's Andrew from evolve... didn't realize you were on these boards. I'm taping the Kingston show... we'll have to do a trade. Cheers.
-
That looks like a pretty good greatest hits disc... will have to pick it up for sure.
-
I hope Karl shows up to at least one of the southern ontario shows... he always manages to pull the best recordings..
-
PPfahaha.... on another note, I hope somebody tapes this show as well as the Toronto show... it would be sweet to release a whole series of JSB/GTB shows from this week.
-
I would have killed to be at that Pearl Jam show... lookin' forward to tour/album news coming out of the PJ camp soon hopefully.
-
hahaha, i got royally fu©ked the other night mixing nyquil and alcohol... bad move.
-
I got the first set of the canada day show taped but missed the 2nd... and that means missing echoes... BLAST!
-
Wow, very tragic news... I hope that we can all take this as a lesson to be very sensible on the roads... especially after a weekend so physically draining as evolve. My deepest condolences to the friends and families of the victims...
-
I'm going tonight... can't wait. DT rocks hard!

Well said, Tim. Having been following you guys since early 2002, I've seen snapshots of the evolution of your music, and I am definitely not among those who feel ripped off. I immensely enjoy the feeling of being taken away by the flowing beer and a long Street Sleeper, or my personal fav, Weight, but the new songs are just so damn catchy, as is the darker sound. I've been hooked on Mannequin, Leader, Friend, and recently got hooked on more mellow stuff like Photograph, and some new stuff I heard on Thursday night in Kingston... OMA, and 'I guess' i think were some of the new ones. Good job guys! Keep growing and keep playing across this great country, and I'll keep taping you guys to document the evolution assuming you a) keep letting me and archive.org doesn't run out of storage space.. hahaha.... cheers and let's here it for the BUS!
P.S. If you're looking to grab a listen to their latest Kingston show (Feb 17th, 05), follow this link:
