Yup, that spot was fantastic for taping... one of the best results I've had taping. Give me a day or so, and I'll post a download link.

Hey Brad, yup, I'm taping both bands... going for dinner/drinks at 7:30 so I'm hoping Vanderpark won't really get started until 9ish.. otherwise we might miss the first bit of their set, but I'll try to hurry dinner. Should be a fun night!

I'm in, and so is my taping gear. I was at the Moses Mayes / Pocket Dwellers show this past Tuesday and it was my first time at the ElMo... I like that place. Good sound and good lighting -- great vibes. Come say hi if you see me setting up my gear (probably in the middle somewhere by those white columns). I'll also offer up a ride to anyone from the K-W/Guelph area.

How late is this show likely to run? I want to come out and tape but have to drive back to K-W right after and if it will go until 1:30-2ish, I think I'll have to bail.

Are the majority of the shows in the saloon or under a covered area? I'm asking this for taping purposes... my new mics showed up and I'd like to run them as opposed to patching out of the board, but not if they'll get wet obviously...

I'm also wondering about food...

It's a pretty versatile clamp.. I can clamp it on to the upright part just below your T-bar.. sort of like a C-clamp type thing that clamps to vertical poles. My gear bag is also self-contained and pretty small (I think you've seen it) so whatever setup you've got down below, I can sneak in somewhere inobtrusive pretty easily. I forget, is the soundboard in Barrymore's up one level? or is it down on the dance floor?
