IIRC, there's a step where you calculate shipping charges; it defaults to USPS within the US (which is free), but if you select USPS to Canada, it adds $15. Maybe you left it at the default? The e-mail I got with details on my order says so you might want to check the e-mail they sent. Aloha, Brad

I saw an episode of Alton Brown's "Good Eats" show, where he made a grilled cheese sandwich using two cast iron fry pans. He heated both pans up, put the sandwich in one pan, and pressed the other pan down on top of it (so that the grilling surface was the bottom side of the pan, that had just been against the burner), making a kind of ersatz panini press that grilled both sides of the sandwich at once. Not with my family. We saved newspapers, tin cans (with the labels removed, and stomped down flat), and wine/liquor bottles and took them to the recycling depot every couple of weeks. Pop bottles (remember the old heavy glass 750mL ones?), as with beer bottles* and cans, were returned for the deposit. Aloha, Brad * I heard that back in the days when all the breweries used the same "stubby" bottle, Ontario had something like 98% of beer bottles returned for reuse, which was the envy of other beer markets.
