Wow, that really was an earthquake this morning? I kinda figured it might have been but i live in a house with a 2 year old and it coulda been that kid pitching a fit! Crazy.

last night was the goods! Can't beleive i missed Spine of a Dog...love that tune. The whole show was wicked-good. As mentioned the Bring it Back Home was great and Meat was as always tore the roof off of the house. and that was just first set. Second set was pure gravy. Timmy Tucker makes me shake my shit like only Antelope can and their was some real nice ambient effects along with the guitar wizadry pervading throughout 2nd set.

I took my 15 year old nephew Kyle whose mind i've been corrupting with good tunes for a couple of years now. This was his first show and it was a great one a wicked venue. they also played Kyle's Song taboot!! It was great watching him lose himself in the music and shake his shit. That kid is definately on the right path. His friends are gonna be real jealous once they figure shit out.

Had a great time with a fun crew. Thanx guys for a great night!

As far as their last show in Toronto that was the night after an absolutely epic halloween show...let's cut the boyz some slack! If anyone needs their eyes opened I'ld suggest listening to Moe.'s latest live release Warts and All. Damn. sweet, sweet ear candy.

Also moe.down is my favorite summer fest. It's just the right size, lots of great acts throughout the weekend and it's close to the border at a wicked nice venue! good fun to close out the summer.

Oh yeah, one quick question. Is there a dress code in effect at the Mercury Lounge? I've been wearing a ball cap all day and just wondering if I'm gonna have to deal with hat-head tonight.

Brad, that is some sissy sounding statements you be making (note the alliteration). 4 hours straight of dancing requires a little endurance training, but if nothing else, seeing bands 4+ nights a week must have prepared you for this night. If all those raver kids can throw down all night we gots to represent for the scene. The next few weeks in Ottawa and area offer enough chances to dance and get in shape for 4/20.
