we stayed at the days inn just 2 blocks from cafe dekcuf/mavericks and it was totally fine. we got a room with a king size bed and it was huge. lots of room for hanging out and the such. We were in full party mode and the staff was totally cool with us. It wasn't anything special but i'd stay there again for shows at mavericks.

and that what people call god is actually the incomprehensible sum of all the energy that flows through everything everywhere... and humanity is a very small portion of what concerns that allness

well put. I have always felt like that the word 'god' is just what we use to describe the pure energy that is infinate source of everything.

I really like Napolean Dynamite mainly because it reminded me of going to a small rural highschool. There were more than one Napolean Dynamite super nerds and plently of the cheerleader/jock types that were always running for school president. And that scene with the chicken farmer, i felt like i knew those guys. Because of my assiociation to all the characters, i thought it was a great movie.

Also for the record one of my favorite sayings of all time, which i saw on a bumper sticker once is fu©k you. you fu©king fu©k. now that's a clssic i can live with.

I agree with fluffhead77, but it's always a good time either way. I was really surprized to see Madeleine Peyroux on the bill. She is an amazing jazz type singer. Her album dreamland is amazing, kind of ella fitzgerald like.

i not sure. my dad is coming up to peterborough tonight until sunday to help me put up the drywall in the studio so it's looking like i might have to miss it, which is way i'm thinking about heading to kingston. you never know though, far stranger things have been known to happen.

what time will this show start and ruffly what time will it end? Thinking about making the drive from peterborough but have to see how it fits in with work.

i took it as a polite request to keep the nature of this thread a postitive one. The world does need positive energy. I doubt the intention was for censeorship or a step towards facism.

whether you believe in this method of sprituality or not what could hurt to have some postive, loving thoughts tomorrow around sunset and help create some postive energy for the world.

Situation:

Jordan and I are in a line up for the bathroom.....buddy tries to bud then gives us a push! Jordan tries to tell him to get to the back of the line.....he calls Jordan a bitch and shoves him....then I came up from the side and punched him in the head!

Then his girlfriend took him to the bathroom.

Maybe I shouldn't have punched him....but he really pissed me off.

amber just got some Greens+ from work. I've been taking it for 3 day stints. can't really tell if it's doing anything but i'm sure it can't hurt.

personally, nothing cures a hang over like a little trip out to the flower garden............

This remedy is not to be repeated for more than 1 day or else you will end up with a way bigger hang over then you started with.

if you really want to experience the spades you need to come to peterborough for a friday night at the moho. It's almost becoming a friday night tradition.

They are definatly different then the hop on a guitar and ride it out to the milky way we're all used too (and love) but they are a solid three piece rocker(with great song writing) and give it 110% all every time i've ever seen them.

what they should have done, or any band looking to cross the boarder is contact the musicians union and get some info on all the forms/red tape you need to do BEFORE you leave for the gig. This might be a good idea for the promotor of a show to do as well.
