One of the few things about Phish that's always bugged me is the lack of 'banter' on stage. So many shows go by without a "thank you", "nice to see you", "have a great night", etc.

Unless it's gone unmentioned, nothing was said about Toronto at last night's show. I think they owe us a quick "sorry about last night" from the stage. Most of the people affected by the cancellation were either at last night's show or will be listening to it.

All that we've had from the band is one very formal announcement, and I think it's fucking rude. It really looks like the don't give a shit.

Just because they didn't acknowledge it the next night to a largely unrelated (as in not from TO) audience, doesn't mean they're not upset about it. Wait until they play here again on Monday and see what Trey says. He ALWAYS says something to the effect of how much they love this city and I'm sure you'll get your apology.

If you have a lawn ticket, how are they assigning seating in the pavilion? Couldn't see any info on the TM page...

We've got a shit load of their beer - generally speaking, we've usually got at least one GLB on tap at work. However, there's a lot of pussies here at work that like light beer and can't drink a few high octane tasty ales at 9am. So we recently changed it up. Pfffft.

I have a quick chicken marinade that is petty tasty.

It's a play off a salad dressing I make all the time.

2 Tblsp Dijon

2 Tblspn Olive oil

1 Tblspn Red Wine Vin

Juice of lemon and rind (use a rasp)

1 or 2 cloves Garlic

1/2 shallot

Some salt and pepper

Toss in some fresh herbs- what ever you have- Thyme, oregano, basil rosemary, tarragon.

Give or take a new ingredient here and there, this is pretty much exactly my go to marinade. Sometimes there's a jalepeno in there, sometimes a little soy, sometimes a little beer ( If I'm doing shrimp or fish - just so the acid in the lemon doesn't cook it )

Sounds great! I always put about 5x the amount of bay leaves in that a recipe calls for.
