scottieking
I've been to Cheju when I lived in South Korea. It's very pretty. I'm not sure what the ex-pat scene is like there, but there's got to be a few kickin around. Cool spot for sure. Good luck. Teaching in Korea was a blast. Blane
You were there? I taught in Seoul in 1999-2000, at Kyung Hee University. GOod times. Not really interested in the expat scene anyhow. I've got friends there now, and a good friend is from Cheju, so I'm sure there'd be lots of chances to socialize. Graeme, the deal with all this vacation is that I can grab a cheap flight to Japan any time I want and hit some shows.
Harpua
I know. Or, grab a flight and catch an entire tour with that much vacation time on your hands. Oh ya, latest Phish rumour I heard on Direct Connect chat was Phish fall 2002, with a 15 night run at MSG.

Blane
Velvet, gotta go the opposite way on the kimchi/soju calls. Kimchi rocks (not so much the cabbage kind, but all the other hundreds), and soju tastes JUST like rubbing alcohol. YUMMY.
