Flipperbaby Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 I do not know if this has been discussed yet, but three of Canada's finest will be playing one block away from each other in TO. Where will you be? Burt or the East Coast! Man who is booking these shows? Peace
Esau Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 I think it's obvious where I'll be........... Creeping Sally thru the alley Jim the bum
frescolopez Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 This is a really tough decision for me and as a result I've come up with a few options. 1) - Somehow severing myself in two, therefore my legs will be dancing my ass off at JSB/GTB while my torsoe and head will be nodding away to the sweet, sweet Burt Neilson goodness. 2) Creating a time machine and watching the Burt Neilson show - then going back in time and watching the GTB/JSB show - seems to make sense?!? 3) Curling up in a ball in the fetal position at home while both concerts take place because I can't make up my mind on which one to see. So I figure I've got some options - but either way it should work out well for everyone.
Phunky Cauldron Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 BNB for me. It's really too bad though that one of them couldn't possibly move their act to the Friday cause that would be one GREAT weekend.
CyberHippie Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 My guess is that the Burt boys found a night when they were all free to play, and booked it. I doubt they had any idea what else was going on the same night. I'm sure the didn't do it on purpose.
Flipperbaby Posted December 12, 2002 Author Report Posted December 12, 2002 I'm sure that the Burt Neilson Band did'nt know about the show down the street. But I think that because the community is so small it is their job to know these things because it is only going to hurt all of the bands especially the bands that have travelled. Peace
shainhouse Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 Shane, you're asking WHY? Here's why my friend. I'm seeing JSB/GTB in hamilton on the 22nd and although I love both bands, BNB was one of the first bands I ever saw and they have have special place in my music loving heart. Given the chance to see a band that 'broke up' instead of seeing two bands that although fantastic, come and go is easy! BNB all the way! see you on the 22nd in Hamilton though!
