On a interesting side note. 1984 - The Prince film "Purple Rain" premieres. On this day the film premieres and tonight I'll be seeing Prince do a few tracks from that movie to be sure. I said after the show Bruce Hornsby's version of "Purple Rain" was worse than Prince but better than Bob Weaver. The "Raspberry Beret" tease was funny too. I don't think I want to pay $102 to see Prince from the back row of the 100's. There would be people closer in the 200's. Who's got my heady extras?
