dancingbear Posted October 6, 2004 Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 my computer has some type of virus .... i have tried running several programs to get rid of it but cant....so i decided to try and use system restore.... the only date it is offering me to restore to is yesterday! my computer was messed yesterday? it wont let me go back to a date in september ie. the calendar button wont take me back. any help would be great. thanks. Esau Posted October 6, 2004 Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 I had the same problem with system restore before,nothing I did would restore my system to a earlier date,I was able to save things by manually removing the virus,it took alot but it worked. Maybe run hijack this and post the results on Tech support guy,I found these guys very helpful and friendly. I prefer zone alarm security suite for my firewall.Norton misses alot of sh!t I have noticed.But thats me,plus I have 140+ years of free service updates....
