Esau
Robert W. Service!Great call,my favourite Candian poet, grew up hearing his poems at my grandma's place. Also, one of the highlights of my journey to the Yukon in 1998 was checking out his cabin in Dawson City.I forget the guy's name (Byrne?) who did the poetry reading on the lawn but he was awesome.I even had a cassette copy of Country Joe MacDonald's album "War,War,War" where he only cover R.W.Service poems put to mind blowing music that I was able to give to the guy. Mr. Musicface
Hey guys remember you can vote once per show "voting window" i.e. once a new show starts on Monday or Wednesday, a new window opens. http://www.cbc.ca/greatest/vote/en/signin.jsp Anybody see last night where Tommy Douglas put the smackdown on Trudeau in the (I think 1968) debate? Interesting stuff! - M.
