StoneMtn
I notice people often "bumping" threads. I might be mistaken, but I think it is done to make the thread longer. I don't really get that. Why is that done? (I am really just curious as I have no idea.)
Patchoulia
Dear StoneMtn, Are you new? Hahaha..j/k.. Bumping is done so that the thread will return to the top of the page so everyone's forced to see it there and are inexplicably compelled to open it and read it... StoneMtn
Ahhhh. Okay. That makes sense. It does seem like a silly question in retrospect. Thanks Mr. Phillips. May you remain stoned; always.

StoneMtn
Well, it's been brought to my attention that Stoned Phillips is far from a "Mister". I should have looked more closely at her avatar and noted how pretty she is. Boy do I feel silly...

Patchoulia
Then there's the ever popular H & B (the "Hump 'n' Bump"), but I won't go into details, it's not *that* kind of forum...

StoneMtn
hmmmmm ... "hump"-ing; "boink"-ing .... I can see what I like about this place! :: (I think those tendencies may also be what keep bringing J-ROC back here.)
bokonon
it also helps to bump threads to remind people about shows that are coming up, like how i have twenty-five posts on each diesel dog thread. or like how you haven't rhymed in a while. StoneMtn
Okay, some rhyming action tonight; I promise! Be on the lookout for some funky-ass rhyming by tomorrow.
