shitidiot
let us know what all the hub bub is about these golden dog fellows. top 5 reasons why i liked the Golden Dogs 1) Dave Azzolini(vocals, guitar) He's a genuine performer, the second he hit the stage. he was in total control. 2)Originality not once did i feel like they were trying be someone else. when they played covers(1985, Wings)they made it there own. 3) Energy from start to Finnish the energy of there show was up beat & rockin. it also managed to stay happy never leading to the dark side that i find most new rock bands go to after a while. again making there sound original. 4) i kept imagining the lead singer kicking someone in the chest. 5)good sounds & great musicians what i mean here is playing the right notes at the right time, not playing to many note. letting the simplicity of rock and roll make the music. lyrical content is excellent. bONES
soon after The Golden Dogs started their set, i asked moose what she thought of them she responded with "i think they're really good" and then asked the same of me i told her i thought the very same, but i might not have thrown the really in there by the end of their performance i NEW that they're really good! then The Spades came back on and rocked the MoHo hard awesome set of originals and some Neil Young in there too ending the night with a wicked Burning on Fumes > I like to Burn Things The Spades are one of my favourite bands now we're so fortunate to have them play the Patch every Friday wicked

DevO
Thanks for the reviews, sounds like a good night! Did anyone manage to catch any of the Creaking Tree show? (I'd imagine it would have been a little difficult to squeeze it all in eh)
