Is REM worth it?

i'm a casual fan, but tix for tonight's london show are 60 bucks and i'd be buying two of them. on the other hand, there are 2 seats on the floor, 14 rows from the stage...

any advice?

I dislike R.E.M., but I know they put on a great show and you would have a good time.

i like'em a lot. saw them last year at ACC, front row had a blast.

If you have never seen them before, then definitely you should go and see if you become an avid fan instead of a casual fan.

holy crap, even if you don't like REM, you'll probably like michael stipe. he has such stage presence, a great voice, and that boy is a smart cookie -- i'd really be interested to hear what he'd have to say to the crowd in light of the election results.

even if you like them somewhat, i say you should go. there's a reason they've been around for 20 years.
