TimmyB
Happy 55th Birthday Tom, May you have many, many more in health and happiness. I think I'm going to watch the Jim Jarmusch film "Coffee And Cigarettes" today as it has a piece with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits. I saw Tom Waits once on October 30, 1999 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre performing for Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit. There is no one else like Waits and I hope I get to see him again one day. from www.billboard.com THIS DAY IN MUSIC For December 7, 2004. 1949 - Tom Waits is born in Pomona, Calif. He claims that he was born in the back of a moving taxi.

TimmyB
I just finished "Coffee And Cigarettes" I love the look on Iggy Pop's face when Tom Waits says what do you think the drumming on my albums is sh!t? I would like to watch "Bram Stoker's Dracula" tonight but my girlfriend is afraid of vampires. So I'm just sitting back right now listening to "Closing Time" instead. Tom is one weird, cool guy.
