Guest Low Roller Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I watched the Chelsea game last night, and all I got to say is that I feel bad for my main man Kahn who had to deal with deflections all night.
Davey Boy 2.0 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 there could well be more insanity today in Turinlet's hope things don't get out of hand
Davey Boy 2.0 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 holy sheepshit, it's already started
Davey Boy 2.0 Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 ...and here is the resultant disciplinary action:"In addition to having to play the games in their home stadium without any fans in the stands, Inter Milan was also levied a $310,000 Cdn fine by Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), European soccer's governing body. UEFA also warned that more instances of fan violence at Inter Milan home games in European competition over the next three years would result in the club playing another two games without spectators in their home stadium."I'm a little divided on this one- it seems initially like a slap on the wrist, but it will end up costing the club several million dollars in lost revenue. I think though that the state of Italian football is wretched at the moment and a heavier hand might have done more to quell the ongoing violence.
