On Friday July 1st, the Toronto Island Summer Jazz Series will kick off its first season of 9 world class jazz music weekends at Toronto's most spectacular waterfront venue. The series is a lead up to the first annual Toronto Island Jazz Festival Sept.3-5 on Olympic Island. Toronto Island visitors will be entertained with special weekly Jazz concerts on Saturdays and our very exciting Canadian Jazz Idol competition performances on Sundays. Last time I was there, the only veg option was fries and it seemed that the club had an exclusive contract with Labatts as "Blue" was the only swill available.D'ja know if this is still the case?also --what's the cover -- I know I scanned quickly, but can't seem to find it listed.
