Booche
Seriously, I love this stuff. Its on TSN right now, Canada-Japan. The ability of some of these kids blows my mind away. 12 years old for Christ's sake!!!!! I just mentioned to DaveyBoy that I would be happy if I could foul off one of those pitches during an at-bat. Jaimoe
I'm trying to watch it at work right now. I hope the Canucks lay down a Godzilla-like ass-kicking.
Booche
That Japanese pitcher looks gooooooooood.
Jaimoe
Well, if you can't throw strikes, homeruns happen.
Booche
The Canadian kids arm might be tired. Isnt this the same brat that only gave up 2 hits his last outing?
Jaimoe
I haven't seen any games. I was up north with no electricity for 3 days.
Jaimoe
Tired arm vs the Japanese = guaranteed loss.
badams
2-0 Japan - bottom of the third. Truthfully Canada did a good job just getting to the International Semi-Final. They haven't shown much offense this tournament. Hopefully they find it today.
Jaimoe
Offense never comes easily against any level of Japanese teams.
Booche
Facts:* Tired arm* Canadians have scored 4 runs in their three games up to this point (I think)* Down 3 nothing to the Japanese, halfway through the gameYou do the math. This would be the greatest Canadian come back in the history of sport.

Jaimoe
I guess if you had to pick one team to get smoked by and not feel too bad about yourself, the Japanese would be the team. Japan will never rub a win in your face.
Basher
11-0 Japan. Whatever, they always end up playing the USA for the championship anyway.
Booche
I'm crying right now worse than some of those Japanese mothers. Stop the madness!

Hal Johnson
Funny story about a guy I played with from Japan. He said that after each game the players would line up side by side, on their knees, facing their coach. The coach would then walk down the line and SLAP any player who he felt played a poor game or made a mistake! Thats how you build a winner!
