I just mentioned to DaveyBoy that I would be happy if I could foul off one of those pitches during an at-bat.

2-0 Japan - bottom of the third. Truthfully Canada did a good job just getting to the International Semi-Final. They haven't shown much offense this tournament. Hopefully they find it today.

I guess if you had to pick one team to get smoked by and not feel too bad about yourself, the Japanese would be the team. Japan will never rub a win in your face.

Funny story about a guy I played with from Japan. He said that after each game the players would line up side by side, on their knees, facing their coach. The coach would then walk down the line and SLAP any player who he felt played a poor game or made a mistake! Thats how you build a winner!
