The Alchemy Society is a new improv break beat group that features incredible drummer Great Bob Scott, Juno award winning sax man Richard Underhill on altered sax and mad bass pedal scientist Lee Hutchison. The music is funky first, with plenty of experimental house,afro funk, and a little drum 'n bass thrown down as they head off on a jazz tip. Guaranteed to keep your mind busy and your booty shakin'. Oh Jay, you should know better than to ask a groupie what she knows about a musician! I've got some great photos I can share with you some time though I saw these guys do a fundraiser for Kensington Market pedestrian Sundays in the spring and they are TIGHT baby!!
