These guys have been playing every Thursday at Jimmy Jazz in Guelph since the summer and I went out to see them last night and what a surprise. They've really evolved in the last few months and are really sounding great.

I thought they were local but I guess they're based out of Toronto. They just got back from a tour of Austrailia with Xavier Rudd too.

I saw them open for Rudd in Ottawa (2004-09-30, I think), and wasn't that impressed with them. Musically, it was kind of "Dave Matthews Lite", to my ears, and that guy sitting and banging on the box was a nice novelty, but wasn't very interesting, musically. They've got some shows on archive.org, but nothing more recent than late February, 2005, which I'll try. I'd be interested in hearing a recording of them from a recent Jimmy Jazz show; anybody know how/if that could be made to happen?

I know they've added a bass player.. at Evolve there was a electric bassist, but at the last show I caught in Toronto they had a hot!! female dready upright bass player..

regardless of talent they've had some great opportunites and done some great touring.
