livingstoned Posted November 24, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2005 Want us to send in the army?Thanks for the offer but no need, I heard on the news (so it must be true) the salt trucks and ploughs were out in FULL EFFECT last night at 7pm pending the severe winter storm they were expecting that hasn't come yet...but they were ready at 7pm last night - ready and waiting to get going. Granted there was some snowfall over night in the city so budget $ time not wasted for them...they had some work to do. We'll see what happens tonight as we wait for this big storm here in TO I will keep you posted! Actually on second thought - perhaps you should just put the army on standby...Back to seriousness though yep its JANUARY OUT THERE....I missed Christmas and NYE but its definitely January.
