It's not often that NYE falls on a Saturday which gives us a long NYE holiday weekend so come out that Friday night and get your rage on! and Slammin Jack is playing a crazy NYE party on the Saturday night. I'll announce the details to that very soon. and Right after that, as of Jan 12, Slammin Jack will be on a six week, cross Canada tour, starting in Calgary, promoting a new album schedualled to be released that day! It is an actual curling club, so there is no danger of overheating on the dancefloor! The event is licensed so there will be alchohol sales on site, and there is no danger of the party being shut down early. The venue comes complete with a smoking room, with pool tables. There is ample parking, but please be responsible, if you plan on drinking, be advised that public transit runs right by the venue. Slammin Jack will be playing from about 10pm to 1am, and then it's DJ's until 7 or 8am, so whether you are a jamhead or a psytrancer, rest assured you will get a full party's worth of your preferred music style, with an excellent opportunity to be introduced to a very different but very compatible genre than you are used to! NYE plans are still rather up in the air for me...i think granville island is going to be it for me however. easier to walk home from.glad to see I can have the best of both worlds that weekend.
