Dr_Evil_Mouse
One of the greater ironies in music history (imo) may be coming to an end - Jackson at Risk of Losing Beatles "There's no doomsday, or anything like that," said Ayscough, a civil lawyer for the pop singer. "Nothing's going to happen tomorrow. At the moment people are still talking."A deal could be reached as early as this week, he added. Oh, a week . MarcO
so will Sir Paul be able to buy back a majority percentage of these songs? My concern is someone who is less crazy than Jackson but more ruthless with their catalogue wil take over and we'll see repackages of that material out the wazoo. Dr_Evil_Mouse
That is a good concern. Maybe someone should start a petition to get Paul on the job.How many generations until it all goes public domain? Or am I just imagining that that might some day be possible. Lazlo
I call foul upon you, Ghost of George Harrison...or should I say...JOANNE MACLOED?!I noticed that too. Perhaps the spirit of George Harrison is being channeled through Joanne McLeod. Seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation to me.
