dave-O
Instead of firing the hapless GM, promote him to Senior VP!

Blane
Milbury took over as GM from Don Maloney in December 1995 and became notorious for his blockbuster trades, most of them not helping the Islanders. He traded away the likes of Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan McCabe, Eric Brewer, Wade Redden, Roberto Luongo, Zdeno Chara and Olli Jokinen.Fuck man, that's the making of a top-10 team right there. It's like a seinfeld episode. If he'd done the opposite of everything he planned, they might be conf. leaders right now.
Freak By Night
Worst GM ever. He signed that notorious underachiever Yashin to a gazillion dollar multi-year contract! For Yashin, he gave up Chara and the draft choice that eventually became Jason Spezza.
dave-O
Trading away Roberto Luongo so he could draft and make way for Rick DiPietro was one of the bone-head moves of all time. Great, get an even less-proven young goalie with less experience!
Guest Low Roller
Lest we forget Bertuzzi/McCabe for Linden.
