Welcome to the board, Chicago ay. Solar Garlic used to reside there, he lurks in the shadows of this place luring unsuspecting people into his web of unbridalled dibotchery, maybe you know him. As for camping, when are you embarking on your journey?

If you cross at the Bluewater Bridge (Port Huron, MI), The Pinery in Grand Bend is relatively close and if you keep going North West of there along the Lake there is tons of little places. Anyone know about the Saugeen Bluffs, just outside of Paisley, ON, man I had some great "trips" there in my high school days.

Ontario is pretty big dude, Some recommended sites to see would be Tobermory (on the bruce pennisula), The Pinery (outside of Grand Bend), Sauble Beach and Area, The Saugeen Bluffs. All of these sights are on Lake Huron a quick google search will likely give you info and directions to where you wanna go. You can try these;

pinery park

Tobermory

Saugeen Bluffs

Ontario Camping (includes Sauble Beach)

Hope that helps,

Superior Provincial Park.Not really far from Sault Ste Marie.

From Lake Superior’s rugged coast, this park moves inland over mist-shrouded hills and deep canyons whose breathtaking beauty and rich autumn colours inspired Canada’s Group of Seven artists. The Coastal Trail and part of Highway 17 hug Lake Superior’s rugged, rocky coast through this park, offering spectacular, unimpeded views of the legendary moody blue waters. Along the park’s eastern border the Algoma Central Railway snakes through Agawa Canyon, thrilling sightseers and dropping off hiking and canoeing adventurers along the way. Don’t forget to see the pictographs at Agawa Rock.

Catch the box-car in to the interior and hop out at sand lake then down the sand river through the park from NW to SE,(think its about a 56km trip)can't remember the KM/mile marker there,but you get on the train with canoe around agawa.I have done the trip twice now,just beautiful,they are even starting to re-introduce the inland caribou,which havent been around for many many years.
