Nurse Rescued By Life She Saved 7 Years Ago

(CBS) BUFFALO, N.Y. In 1999, a nurse saved a young boy's life after he went to cardiac arrest. Fast forward seven years later and the boy repaid the woman by saving her life.

Seven years ago, Kevin Stephan was struck across the chest with a baseball bat. He was saved by a quick-thinking woman who performed CPR.

CBS Early Show anchor Rene Syler spoke with the two lifesavers.

Now 17 years old, the youth was washing dishes at a Buffalo-area restaurant when customer Penny Brown began to choke. After he successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver on the woman, his mother recognized Brown.

The two are more than a little surprised by the coincidence. As a grateful Brown put it, "One good turn deserves another."
