Northern Wish
Guilty pleasure, but I don't even know if the guilt is justified. bradm
You might try listening to stuff fromhttp://www.archive.org/details/DeathCabforCutieand seeing which songs you really like, then tracking down the albums that have them.Aloha,Brad
AD
Transatlanticism is their best, IMO.'We Looked Like Giants' is my winter theme. They're playing this weekend in Ottawa with the amazingawesome Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, but tickets are too expensive and sold out. Northern Wish
Don't miss Ted Leo, I have a couple of his cds and I enjoy them very very very very much. Sorry listening to Bright Eyes........I guess with Pablo on board I can now drop the guilty and just call them a pleasure!Sean
Northern Wish
Ahhh yes AD. That is the one I was going to order.Amazon has all of their cds, but they all got added in April 2005 so the release dates are all April 05 instead of the real dates. I didn't want to end up with some album from 10 years ago.
bradm
For those who are going to the Ottawa show on Saturday, if it ends at a reasonably early hour the jambands.ca Hallowe'en party is also on that night; we'll go as late as we can. MarcO
besides Plans, the only other one I have is Transatlantacism, and it is excellent too.I wish I had treated myself to one of their Massey Hall shows this week but it just wasn't in the cards. I like this band a lot.
AdamH
They're not a fucking guilty pleasure for me at all, they're fantastic and everything I've heard from Ted Leo+Rx I've liked too. As the doors open at 7pm making for an early night I suspect we'll be seeing alot of moms dropping their kids off but that's ok by me.
