Booche
Is that one the dvd that JimmyB gave you? What's the fisting scene like? The image in the back of the case is terrifying.

zero
We weren't really intending it as a Halloween movie but Jeunet and Caro's La cite des enfants perdu (City of Lost Children).Jeunet and Caro did most famously Amelie and also Delicatessan (!! cannot say enough good about that movie- dark but funny). City has Ron Perlman (from Hellboy) as a Strongman in a strange underworld. Kind of a complex convoluted plot but so rich visually. The sets and set dressing, costumes, cinematography - incroyable. I've had that movie on my radar for years. I gotta watch it soon. I love Ron Perlman's attitude towards being in foreign films: see Del Toro's modern vampire classic Cronos. Oh yeah, has anyone seen Guillermo Del Toro's other great horror film (it's more of a dusty ghost story with soul) The Devil's Backbone. Fucking brilliant Spanish movie. zero
It was on my radar for ages then just went for it. I'd say I probably like Delicatessan better - same central character in all three- well in Amelie the guy plays the jealous cafe patron (in City he plays six clones of himself!).
