zero
145 Lost Sailor's seems like a fair bit but I don't think it ever lost it's lure, it had a certain special place in the repertoire. Did they really only play 10 Unbroken Chains, at least two of those must be in the nineties though (Philly and Memphis or something?).
Booche
All of the Unbrokens were in 1995, beginning on 03-19-95.Someone put the diaper back on our chimp. The Chameleon
Remember boys..... P.S. The Dead really could have played the Bob Wier solo tune "Salt Lake City" and soul classic "Take me to the River" much more...
M.O.B.E
Though I could do without it on the recordings for sure!Yeah' date=' I never saw The GD so I'm only referring to the recordings. I find that a 20 minute Drums > Space really kills the flow of the 2nd set. So when I feel like spinning the Dead it's usually just the 1st set.[/quote']If you actually listen to drums and space you will find that they are integral to the second half of the second set. Space almost always leads into whatever comes next if you listen to all the notes. Best example I can spit out right away is, watch VFTV4 7/26/87 Space>TOO. When Jerry finally releases the band in Other One is so climactic you will cream your pants.
bradm
Hux, Booche, can we stop this petty bickering, and get on to the real news of today: Rod Stewart is playing Ottawawhen he brings "Still the Same ... Great Rock Classics of Our Time" concert to Scotiabank Place on Feb. 23. Some of the classic tunes that Rod the Mod and his nine-piece band will cover are "Best of My Love", "Love Hurts" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain."Aloha,Brad
