Beatles Love - 5.1

The Beatles recordings that George Martin and his son have remixed for the Cirque de Soleil is released on CD and a 5.1 mix on DVD.

Does anyone have this?

The 5.1 mix is very interesting to me. check out the interview with George and Son

I can't wait to hear this. There is so much to hear in a Beatles recording in stereo let alone 5.1. It's like hearing the 5.1 mix of Dark Side of the Moon ... it's like somebody took the earmuffs off!

Thanks for the link to the interview. Martin is a character ... and a genius. For anyone who has never tried it, listen to your Beatles recordings out of ONLY the left OR the right channel. Amazing stuff.

I bought the stereo version yesterday. I'm loving it!

I was in the futureshop trying to get a deal on an SD memory card. they had one for 19.99 after 70 bucks worth of rebates...but sold out.

Anyway, I forgot that I wanted to get the DVD. SHITTY! I would have it right now.

I do want to sit in the living room with the 5.1 version on.

Glad to hear that it is worth the repurchase of Beatles music.
