You'd hope that a watchdog like the BBB would be a help.I'll probably be looking into a bunch of roofwork in the the spring and I'll be sure to post here for any recommendations on who to get a quote from. Most of them just flat out refused to do our house. (It's a 2.5 story with a really steep sloped roof and sits on a ridge that means it's 3.5 stories to the ground at the front.) We tried Sears but they are SUPER expensive and just turn around and sub-contract the work out anyway. I think they wanted $14,000 to do our house.Anyway, I wish you luck.
