bouche Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 After recommendations from a few photographers including Davey-boy and Guigsy, I finally went ahead and picked up a really fantastic lens for my camera. It's a zoom lens that will allow me to get some great LIVE MUSIC photos in those situations where there isn't a whole lot of light. It's got a built in gizmo that compensates for camera shake and it is labelled as VR. The lens itself is a Nikkor AF-S VR Zoom 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED. I just took a couple of photos of our dog at rest in the living room where it was quite dim. My regular zoom could not even come close to exposing Abbey in under 1 second.
