Oh fuck, I forgot Hutch. He's too quiet. I'd kicks Smurphy out of the band too, he talks too much. I bet it was Hutch's idea.

I heard Steve Murphy dropped Elmo as his middle name and no longer allows himself to be tickled. I also heard they exclusively do small ensemble renditions of Big Band Jazz tunes while dressed in provocative chicken suits. They have a roadie who is considering returning to law school. Smurphy went into a K-Hole and hasn't spoke since. In fact, nobody's sure if he's really 'back' yet. It's your generic rise and fall of the small town band really. I'll be writing a hardbound, pamphlet-sized biography on the band within the next 13 years. 12 people will read it and 5 homeless people will use the remaining copies to make a fire to keep warm. Years later, one of the homeless men will meet me on the street and thank me for providing him warmth on that cold winter night. After much indecision on the issue, I will eventually decide not to write a biography about that homeless man. And so ends the saga of the The Steven Elmo Murphy Band, their attorney and the fire that almost sparked a book.
