Kanada Kev
I've heard this too. Which one did you see? Supposedly there is a UK version that is even better than the US version (like you've never heard that before )

Jaimoe
I liked it too. It's from the same director that did the cult horror werewolf movie Dog Soldiers co-starring Rome (HBO) and Trainspotting's Kevin McKidd, which I own on DVD. Dog Soldiers is really good and did very well in the theatres in Britain. Neil Marshall is a director on the rise.

thatpatguy
the only difference between the US and UK versions is the ending (and more specifically where the ending actually ends). If you aren't afraid of a spoiler (or have seen the film) you can find out the difference here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/alternateversionsI saw the UK version and loved the film! Jaimoe
I don't know what the US ending is, but the one I saw was not what you'd call a happy ending.

Jaimoe
Actually, now that I think about it, I saw the UK version, but I watched it on DVD. The DVD also had the US ending as a bonus. Yes, I liked the original version. It makes the film much more chilling.
hamilton
I don't know what the US ending is, but the one I saw was not what you'd call a happy ending.Americans whine and bitch when they don't get their happy endings. The same thing happened in "28 Days Later" - two totally different endings, one UK and one US. You can guess which one was happier.
