guigsy Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 oh yeah, that was a pretty neat one-man rendering...i really enjoyed the more avant garde playing juxtaposed with the thicker grooves, and generally like it when there's a lot going on for my ears to sift through. the one man show always seems a little tough in terms of building room energy and participation, likely because there's so much to attend to for the performer and the audience, but on the flipside, it can be a pretty awesome treat to watch and listen for how the songs form and take shape.thanks for the great showcase, dave. hope the album turns out how you want, and im looking forward to hearing it.
