Riddim Riders play a mix of originals and

classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Many

Jamaican standards, some that people will

recognize right away, and others that only long

time reggae fans will know. Focus is on tunes

with conscious, spiritual lyrics and vibes. Heavy

dub breaks included.

Hey Bri, does some of this band come from The inspirators(not sure if this is the right name.) They used to play mermaids in hess back in the day! I used to go see them all the time. Unfortunetly I cant make it out as much as I used to and would love to see the band soon. I love a good funky reggae party!!!

I love reggae! And the Riddim Riders are great! I was wondering if you were going to get some alternative gigs happening, now that 33 Hess has officially bit the bucket (again). I'll most likely be taking in the Fatties on the 24th, so unfortunately I won't be making it out to this show, but do you think you'll have more gigs over the month of December? I'd love to make it out once school obligatons lighten up (which is soon...very soon...)

And yes Jay, a few of the members are from the Inspirators. Good times.

Great show Sat night! Pepper Jack’s was hopping… Very few people that I recognized and I don’t think there was one person from the board other thn staff. Sorry if I missed anyone. There’s a pretty decent reggae scene developing around here and I hope a few more people pick up on it. We’ll be headlining the Casbah for NYE with h.E.A.T and Dodger. It’s going to be a huge show with each band capable of filling the room. We feel honoured to be a part of such a great event. I’ll have more info soon in case anyone is interested.
