Guest Low Roller
Does anybody listen to this band? I used to a long time ago, but they dropped off of my radar for a long time. The Mars Volta topic spawned a search on Soundpedia for Mars Volta, which linked to similar artists. Lo and behold I figured why not. I'm listening to their album California, and I gotta say that it is absolutely great. They haven't lost any of their 'evil circus' sound, but at the same time they have amalgamated a myriad of other genres and sounds into their songs... I mean one song went from jazz to heavy metal to psychadelic jam. Fun times.I think that I'm back on the wagon.
balogna pogna
I found their early albums interesting but kind of hard to listen to more than say once a year.Very creative and funny though.I haven't heard anything new from them in a long time. Tricky
I downloaded a few shows a little while back...it seems as though when I was a kid I didn't mind them. I had to take it off my HD so I wouldn't be completely annoyed with it.
ollie
Love Mr. Bungle and Mike Patton in general. California's kind of old now isn't it?
StoneMtn
Agreed. Love them. Have you checked out his band "Tomahawk"? Great stuff!
Guest Low Roller
California is old, but I never listened to it before. I only had the first album and stopped there.
dave-O
I'm pretty sure Roller and I saw Tomahawk (or was it another Patton project?) open for Tool one time. The sound was too muddy to get a really good feel for what they were doing, but I thought it was interesting.
Guest Low Roller
Shit! I totally forgot about that. I have no memory of the opening act from either TOOL show I saw... All I remember is the visuals from the TOOL show that haunt my dreams to this day.
Hux
If by "Mr" you mean "Rat" and by "Bungle" you mean "Dog" then yes. They rock.

AD
I'd say I'm a medium fan of Mr. Bungle.Saw Fantomas once, that was pretty wild.
dave-O
I have no memory of the opening act from either TOOL show I saw... Apparently you also have no memory of seeing Tool for a third time!
Guest Low Roller
I didn't really count that third one, because technically they opened for Radiohead at a festival in my mind.I meant the Ottawa and Montreal shows.
