The D Funk
is it really worth the extra dough for a mac, i dont know anything about them!!
d_rawk
Depends, I guess. What's your use case and are you turned on or off by learning new things? Which pc laptop are you looking at?
paisley
probably comes down mostly to whaddya wanna pay... mac's are generally a little more expensive most software is available for both now... even le windows if you have the money and you're not a pc geek could be fun to try out a mac (then you can answer this question for the next person who asks if you're a real pc geek or cash is somewhat tight you might want to stick with pc
The D Funk
i would like to use it for burning dvds and cds, maybe doin minor recording!! and obviously surfing the web!!
Irie Guy
Remember to not just think about the price. Its the user experience. With a Mac you will not have to worry about Virus, Spyware and malware problems. Don't believe the BS out there its not happening on the Mac. jonyak
how exactly is your current computer broken?it could be a really simple thing like your power supply, where you just go out and spend 50 buck and install it.unless of course its really just and excuse to get a new computer. AD
With a Mac you will not have to worry about Virus, Spyware and malware problems.my PCs have never had a virus either in over ten years. not that i'm knocking macs at all. like other people say, it depends on what you want to do.burning dvds and cds and minor recording, you don't need to spend the extra on a mac for those capabilities.
