REM/ National/ MMouse

Do these guys have anything left in them? Once upon a time they were one of my favourite bands. That lasted until Green, which I though was a departure for them, but today it stands as classic REM in my book. I remember thinking that Fables was a sellout when it came out - heh. I saw them at Massey Hall in 1986. Over 20 years ago - wow. Natalie Merchant came out for the encore (including Sloop John B). I had no idea who she was at the time. I wanna be Your Dog! I remember Michael just stalking on the stage while the rest of the band were just waiting to see what he'd start singing next.

Green tour was pretty good as well. I was hesitant about seeing them at MLG, but they made it work. Saw them a few years ago at the Civic Centre for nostalgic reasons, but have since totally lost interest.

I just found that Massey who at dime! Gotta pick that one up. IRS era REM!
