Guest Low Roller
Marlies have been strong all year, but don't let that fool you into thinking that JFJ actually built up a strong farm system. The team is mainly comprised of career AHLers rather than prospects. Regardless there is playoff hockey in Toronto, so good for you.
dave-O
Why in the world is Clemmensen starting over Pogge? That boggles my mind. Does someone need to explain to the Leafs brass that the point of a farm team is to develop NHL players, not to win AHL championships?

Hal Johnson
They cant give away tickets to Marlies games. The only way to draw in the Toronto crowds is to put a winner the ice, and if that means a bunch of journey men, then so be it. Its what they have to do. It sad, but they cant "afford" to even re-build the Marlies!
Guest Low Roller
[color:purple]Why do they need to develop Pogge? They already have Raycroft and Toskala.

However, they really only have a couple of top prospects in that gay internet kid and that goalie that they have no trust in playing.
Guest Low Roller
Pogge is the #1 prospect for the Leafs according to HockeyFuture.com and they have only played him for 33 minutes in 15 playoff games. Genius.
dave-O
I'm not going to bother looking it up, but I betcha Tuuku Rask played the majority of the minutes for Providence.
