Guest Low Roller
It appears that Angelo Esposito may play in Montreal after all... not with the Habs though, but rather with Le Junior de Montreal, the new Q team that will debut next year. The owner of the team is doing everything he can according to RDS in order to secure what he calls his "marquee player" for next season.Esposito currently plays for the Remparts de Quebec. dave-O
The Montreal team is actually just the re-located St. John's Fog Devils.
AD
Fog Devils? Awesome. They should keep the name in Montreal. Confuse everyone.

Guest Low Roller
Done dealHowever it sounds like Le Junior paid a huge price for Angelo's services... They obviously made this trade in hopes of immediate dividends in increased attendance, but they sacrificed three picks (1st, 3rd, 5th rounds) in 2008, 1st round in 2009, and a prospect. Pretty steep for someone going into his last year of junior hockey.
Guest Low Roller
Have Le Junior shot themselves in the foot before the season even started? Angelo Esposito signed a professional deal with the Thrashers, and it's possible that he won't even play a game for Le Junior de Montreal who gave up A TON in exchange for getting their hands on the home boy.
