In spite of all the hype, 5.8.77 is truly DA BOMB!!!

I've probably heard that Jack Straw close to 450,000 times, but the vocals, Jerry's runs, the power.....I still tear up every time I hear it [smile]

What the band was able to achieve in 1977: unsurpassed tightness, the vocal peak year of the GD, inspired playing and energy - most bands couldn't create the perfection of some of those performances IN the studio - truly an incredible era for the band.
