secondtube Posted October 3, 2003 Report Share Posted October 3, 2003 Well, today was the day... Got on the water around 8:30 and fished for pike 'till 9:30. Not even a follow from my toothy friends... Switched to a Blue Fox #4 silver spinner, and on my third cast caught my first ever ___________ (rainbow?) I'd imagine it was a rainbow, but what do i know? My father and i were happy as a pig in poo! Neither of us have ever caught a trout, and this was a fantastic first...The fight was great. The headshakes were fun. Not too much of a run, but enough to get the heart pumping thats for sure... Just that single fish made all my morning/evening unsucessful trout hunting worth while....and I know they get so much bigger... Well, 20 minutes later, WHAM!!!! Allz i can say is, i'm hooked. That fish (once again, i imagine, a rainbow, but what do i know) fought harder than my 9 pound muskie (my previous biggest fight...) Tons of fun... Anyways, great morning on the water, ... I want to see Jomo either tonight in Guelph, or brantford tomorrow... CJ on the other day...so i'm in T.O. tonight or tomorrow night, then for sure Sunday... We'll see... Time to hit a bong!!!!
