bradm
Is the Murray Street Charcouterie out of your price range? The food there (mostly meat- and cheese-based) is wonderful.I like The Black Tomato, too.Aloha,Brad
PassedOutGuy
Its been a while but I enjoyed the Black Tomato a few times as well.
AD
Chez Lucien
ollie
What does "not too expensive" mean? Signatures on Laurier used to do reasonably priced table d'hote lunches on Thursdays and Fridays. Is it for lunch though, or dinner? More parameters please! P.S. Chez Lucien tends be pretty packed most of the time so pick a backup option if that's your first choice.

ollie
20 people is a lot with no reservation. If all else fails you might want to consider Haveli's (Indian) as a backup plan.

ollie
The Clocktower seems a little low rent for this kind of thing. Probably be filled with loud 20-somethings.
