Allgood help

Anyone ever done Allgood?

Any tips? The camping is not near vehicles I guess... is it laid out well? Easy to get around and in/out? Can you get back to your car easily to keep the valuables locked up there etc?

Are the VIPs worth it?

Anything else you can tell me?

I've done Allgood, but I was working (DSO) and don't have any tips..sorry.

Camping wasn't far (IIRC), but that was 7 years ago.

I liked Marvins Mountaintop, I remember that.

Wish I were going this year, that's a great lineup!

My tix for the Ottawa Furthur show came on Friday so I get my Dead fix at least once this summer

I've only been once and it was a good 7 years ago too. I don't know anything about the VIP section but, if the layout's still the same, the earlier you get there, the better chance you have of camping closer to your car. That being said, the closer you camp to your car, the further you'll be from the stage. It's a give and take but otherwise it's laid out pretty well.

All that aside, it's a gorgeous area and half the staff look like they have down syndrome, but that's just life South of the Dixie Line...
