Northern Wish
I am really hoping to find a rip of the iclips- I suspect the wind and raucous crowd might have affected the recording.... But that will do for now.THANKS!!!
jay sanislo
yeah I watched the levon helm and friends bit. Was really nice. Highlight for me was the SWEET VIRGINIA. Sounded great. You could hear the wind but it wasnt really overpowering too much.
Northern Wish
There were so many highlights it was ridiculous. Every artist on that stage poured their heart out. Patterson and Ray nearly brought tears (of joy not rage), Fagen guesting on a surprise Shakedown Street was more than fun, Sweet Virginia (again a surprise addition to the set) was wonderful. Levon and Warren on Blind Willie McTell complemented each other and the song, but I think the real standout in my mind right now would have to be the opener of The Shape I'm In because I had never seen a member of The Band play live before and I was forced still in my shoes as a wave of emotion poured over me.Top 5 acts of the rest of the weekend:Avett BrothersDave MasonDbTDerek Trucks BandClaypool (with Warren!)Top 5 covers:White Rabbit (Jefferson Airplane)- Grace PotterBlack (Pearl Jam)- Govt MuleSweet Virginia (Stones)- Levon and FriendsGold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac)- Mule with GraceI've Got a Feelin (Beatles)- Derek and Susan BandCome on iclips archives!
