CyberHippie
So nugs.net has the Winterland run from 10-17-78 to 10-22-78. I'm not going to grab all five shows, so my question is, which is *the* show to get from this run?
CyberHippie
Well, in the end, I grabbed them all... However, I'd still like to know what your favourite show is from this run? Just listening to the first show now: scarlet fire dead air estimated eyes drums space oh my!
zimmerman pt3
listening to it now; the key jam is from 10/22 Olin Agreed>> perfect for the morning daze; Jerry's noodling is tranquil and reminds me of "Love Song" from the Zabriski soundtrack! the other key track is the rare "If I had the World to Give"

The way that absolutely nothing happens? It's brilliant. The silence is so penetrating that it's, like, perfect. Does "The Dead" ( ) still do this tune? Have they re-worked it, or is it still performed in the same manner?
MarcO
I'm offended Weir still includes it in his setlists.
