mister slippery
Ah, the FA Cup. What a scene. Awesome.Arsenal Spurs and Newcastle have sure made for an interesting week 38, plus the possibility/certainty that Chelsea will spoil it for someone on May 19th.And, the Manchester race is kinda cool too.Plus, Europa spots, Championship playoffs, Messi up to 72 goals on the year, and that Cisse goal v Chelsea, just wow! :chug:
mister slippery
Hadn't actually noticed, but if Arsenal Spurs and Newcastle all manage to lose next week, and CFC can beat both Liverpool and Blackburn, then Chelsea take 3rd.Neat.
ollie
Spurs blew it today but can still take 3rd. Lots of possibilities next weekend. Strap me in!!
TheSloth
Oh Tottenham, you're so crazy! Never change!Thank the fucking gods for the results on Sunday. That said, Arsenal still has their work cut out from them on the road next weekend. Fingers crossed.
Davey Boy 2.0
if the Chavs win the CL there'll only be three CL spots available for next season, assuming they don't finish in the top
Davey Boy 2.0
anyone know why all the games this w.e. fall on Sunday? I guess it has to do with it being the last day and to not give anyone an advantage in knowing ahead of time if rivals have earned points or not for where they finish in the table (if you know what I mean)
ollie
Isn't it like this every year, and yes for the reason you mentioned. I am very pleased with the TV channel lineup tomorrow, between Sportsnet, TSN and "Setanta" the following matches will air live at 10 AM:Spurs/FulhamSunderland/ManUManC/QPRWest Brom/Arse
mister slippery
Always pisses me off, every year.I miss good games every Sunday because of church in the morning, but to miss ALL of 'em just sucks.Oh well, we're in 6th!!! :chug: Sloth, Ollie, whatever, just not Newcastle. Not this year.Need to overcome an 18 point differential in my pool too, so need big weekend out of RVP, Shrek, Bale, Adebayor, and Yaya.Cmon football! :chug:

Davey Boy 2.0
crazy crazy game....Joey Barton is a nutjob. I was surprised that Mancini fielded an arguably defensive squad (maybe not exactly defensive but less attacking than he could've), thought for sure Balotelli would partner Tevez/Aguero up front knowing that they needed to win and all.
