ersh
First off... please no "just get a mac" comments. I know.Trying out a new computer for live music use... I normally run NI Kontakt live... and at home I use that along with Cubase 5.1 and a bunch of random VST synths. Kontakt is really the only cpu hog out of all of them... So. Upgrading to windows 7 64-bit from my old 32-bit Dell XP has been a nightmare. Most of my Kontakt samples are UNUSABLE... completely overloading my cpu. My Cubase files play like my cat is dancing on a turntable.I'm hoping someone might have some insight in windows 7 DAW use.
